PreSkilling: The Methodology That Prepares Leaders Before Change Arrives [Podcast Digital Talks by t2ó ONE]

Emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, and automation are reshaping not only business models but also the skills required to lead in this new environment. On top of that, the rapid pace of digital transformation, along with growing economic, geopolitical, and social uncertainty, is forcing organizations to constantly rethink their strategies. In this complex and challenging scenario, adaptability is no longer enough for business leaders. Today, the true differentiator lies in the ability to anticipate — to read the environment before anyone else and prepare for what has yet to arrive.

This is where the concept of skilling gains strategic importance. Beyond simple training, skilling—and its branches such as preskilling and upskilling—emerges as an essential tool for equipping leaders with the competencies needed to face both current and future challenges. It’s not just about acquiring technical knowledge, but about developing critical skills such as strategic thinking, emotional intelligence, data-driven decision-making, and learning agility.

In this podcast, we speak with Dionís Goodman to understand how preskilling can redefine how business leaders move beyond adaptation and start anticipating the changes driven by technologies like Artificial Intelligence, digital transformation, and an uncertain global environment.

Goodman is a consultant and trainer with over 20 years of experience in talent strategy, innovation, and organizational transformation. He is currently a Director at EDGERS, a pioneering corporate foresight consultancy co-founded with Alfons Cornella, focused on helping professionals and organizations anticipate the future and use it as a tool to redesign their business models.

Over the course of his career, he has held leadership positions at major global tech companies such as Samsung, BenQ, and ASUS. He was also Communications Director at Grupo Zeta and served for 12 years as a Director at ISDI, one of the leading Spanish-speaking digital business schools.
He is the creator of PRESkilling, an innovative methodology for professional preparation for the future of work, successfully implemented among executives of IBEX 35 companies.

Dionís holds a degree in Advertising from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, a Master’s in Digital Business (MIB) from ISDI, and is certified in Future Thinking by the Institute for the Future (IFTF). His education is complemented by studies in digital strategy, innovation, and foresight thinking.

He is a prominent figure in Spanish-speaking strategic foresight, with a focus on the challenges emerging at the intersection of future thinking and the new skill needs of 21st-century corporations, both in Spain and Latin America.
