Measuring Artificial Intelligence requires a New Business Mindset [Digital Talks Podcast by t2ó ONE]

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly becoming a strategic factor for companies, redefining how they operate and interact with their customers through innovation. The rapid growth of AI models that process large volumes of data, automate decision-making, and generate real-time value brings significant challenges in terms of implementation and measurement. It is now essential to understand how AI impacts productivity, ethics, competitiveness, and business sustainability.

Measuring AI is not about quantifying return on investment or cost reduction, but about analyzing broader metrics such as improvements in customer experience, organizational adaptability, and the reliability of automated systems. These indicators require a more holistic view that goes beyond traditional financial parameters. In this sense, AI measurement becomes a critical aspect. The lack of a clear measurement framework can lead to unrealistic expectations or the underuse of AI capabilities.

Given this scenario, there is a growing need for a new business mindset. Companies must move away from viewing AI merely as a technological tool and start seeing it as a driver of cultural and strategic transformation. This means fostering agility, promoting transparency in algorithmic processes, and adopting governance frameworks that balance innovation with responsibility.

Ultimately, the success of AI will depend on leaders’ ability to question how to measure its impact and align indicators with long-term goals. Having this kind of mindset will not only create economic value but also strengthen employee trust.

In this podcast, we speak with Jaume Clotet, General Director of Infini, who shares his insights on the importance of measuring Artificial Intelligence and how it requires a new mindset for organizations.

Clotet has over 25 years of experience in the digital field. He has founded and led multiple technology companies and held executive positions at KPMG and PwC, where he developed digital transformation practices.

He holds a degree in Business Administration from UOC and a Master’s in Technological Project Management from the Institut Català de Tecnologia. He is also a professor at IESE and ISDI business schools, where he helped launch the first Master’s in Data Analytics in Spain.
